The Position

Maintenance Technician (Heavy Industrial)

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation and rebuilding of machinery, miscellaneous equipment, and parts.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities* Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs and preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, gearboxes, bearings, conveyor systems, and production machines while following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions

Skills and Attributes* Must be able to effectively communicate both orally or written

Education and Experience* Must have a High School Diploma or GED

Environment* Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise, outside weather in all conditions and materials used in the process
