Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and efficiency of all machinery and equipment. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machines to minimize downtime and support the production process. The ideal candidate should possess a strong attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Primary Functions:
•Execute regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines and equipment according to established schedules.
•Inspect, clean, and lubricate machinery components to ensure smooth operation.
•Replace worn-out or damaged parts to prevent breakdowns and maintain optimal performance.
•Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in machinery.
•Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting to identify the root cause of malfunctions.
•Perform repairs and adjustments to restore equipment to proper working condition promptly.
•Calibrate and align machinery to ensure precision and accuracy in production processes.
•Collaborate with production teams to address any deviations from specifications and maintain quality standards.
•Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency situations, providing quick and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
•Work closely with production supervisors to prioritize and address critical issues affecting production.
•Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and dates of service.
•Provide detailed reports on equipment status, maintenance schedules, and recommendations for improvements.
•Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance activities.
•Identify and report any safety hazards, and actively participate in safety meetings and training programs.
•Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and departments to share knowledge, best practices, and coordinate efforts for efficient maintenance operations.
•Communicate effectively with machine operators and production teams to gather information on equipment performance and issues.

Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant trade school education preferred.
•CNC Maintenance experience preferred
•3-5 years proven experience as a maintenance technician in a machine shop or similar environment.
•Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
•Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
•Familiarity with a variety of tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices used in maintenance.
•Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
•Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations.

Working Conditions:
•Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
•Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
•May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
•Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Attendance Requirements: Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory.
