This position works with maintenance groups, work week scheduling, engineering and facility custodians to ensure all corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance work is planned according to scheduled work and prioritized according to relative task importance. This position also coordinates with maintenance supervisors, engineering, operations and craft personnel to ensure jobs are properly planned, including identification of necessary permits, coordination of support personnel, and ordering of spare materials. Maintain Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Provides management and support of the Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS) software by entering and updating preventative maintenance requests, surveillances, asset ID information, and post-planning closeouts.
- Utilizes maintenance software applications to electronically document, schedule and track work performance with input from Work Week Schedulers.
- Research and scope assigned work order tasks including walk downs to obtain detailed information.
- Develops work packages to include required materials lists, work instructions, and other required documentation to ensure compliance with plant procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Identifies or assists in the identification of the proper replacement parts for the specific activity. Purchases appropriate replacement parts for work activities.
- Develop work packages to maintain integrated, resource-loaded schedules for assigned maintenance, project, or support groups as assigned.
- Interface with other organizations (Operations, Work Week Schedulers, Production Support, Engineering, etc.) as necessary for input into schedule development and to ensure coordination of tasks involving support groups.
- Assist in the development and tracking of key performance indicators to ensure maintenance activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner
- Assists in the development and validation of procedures, and training material
- May be required to make code, structure and tables changes to the application
- Other duties as assigned
We'd Love to Hear from Candidates With:
- Associate of Science in Engineering, Physical Sciences or equivalent technical experience, with a high school diploma or GED.
- Within the past eight (8) years, must have three (3) years of maintenance related experience in an industrial or military environment.
- Must be able to travel for training and development as requested by management
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Must be able to successfully complete the Qualification Standards and Job Specific Training program
- Currently possess or are capable of obtaining and maintaining a DOE "Q" security clearance
