Rapidly Growing Organization with Interests in Energy, Natural Resources, Mining, Power Generation, and Real Estate Development Seeks Entry Level Maintenance Electrician.
Rausch Creek Power Generation is seeking a knowledgeable Entry Level Industrial Mechanical Maintenance/Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience with medium voltage circuitry, troubleshooting ability, 480V breakers, starters, and electric motors of all sizes. The Power Plant Electrician will be responsible for reading, interpreting, and working with service manuals, blueprints, sketches, technical manuals, control wire diagrams, and other written instructions to evaluate all electrical maintenance and logic in accordance with local and national codes. The candidate should be able to perform electrical troubleshooting and maintenance functions, including replacing motors, relays, breakers, electrical disconnects of rotating machinery, and use all electrical hand tools. Basic stick welding, and use of a torch, grinding and cutting.
Job Duties include but not limited to:
· Maintain and repair plant electrical systems to the highest possible standard, maximizing availability & reliability with strict observance of plant safety policies and procedures.
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents.
· Perform electrical maintenance on motors, relays, breakers, electrical disconnects of rotating machinery, and other electrical equipment.
· Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of all work performed, including the use of computerized maintenance management systems.
· Follow all safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations.
· Available to respond to emergency call-ins to work anytime day or night.
· Knowledge of 480V breakers, starters, and electric motors of all sizes.
· Ability to read, interpret and work with service manuals, blueprints, sketches, technical manuals, control wire diagrams, and other written instructions to evaluate all electrical maintenance and logic in accordance with local and national codes.
· Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and maintenance functions, including replacing motors, relays, breakers, electrical disconnects of rotating machinery, and use all electrical hand tools.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
· Tech Training or minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial setting as an electrician.
