Maintenance Director/ Manager

Overview

The Maintenance Manager/ Director is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within our facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong background in maintenance management, project management, and mechanical knowledge. The Maintenance Director will lead a team of maintenance professionals, supervise daily activities, and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance operational performance.

Duties

- Supervise and manage the maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.

- Oversee the fabrication of parts and components as needed for repairs or upgrades.

- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems, including HVAC and high voltage systems, to identify potential issues.

- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and project plans to minimize downtime.

- Utilize tools such as voltmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management.

- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance efforts and ensure operational efficiency.

- Train staff on proper maintenance techniques and safety procedures.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.

- Experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.

- Familiarity with high voltage systems and HVAC operations is preferred.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Ability to fabricate parts as required for maintenance tasks.

Pay: $100,241.32 - $120,634.71 per year
