Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management, ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, safety management, and the ability to supervise a team while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
•Supervise and lead the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
•Manage maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory.
•Oversee HVAC systems, ensuring they are maintained according to industry standards.
•Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying areas for improvement or repair.
•Oversee Lockout / Tagout Program, Confined Spaces Program, OSHA regulations, Safety Manual and Safety Procedures
•Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure compliance with schematics.
•Plan and execute maintenance projects, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
•Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role.
•Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
•Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical equipment
•Knowledge of metal manufacturing equipment preferred
•Knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot related issues.
•Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
•Ability to read and interpret schematics for various systems.
•Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
