SCOPE: The Maintenance and Reliability Specialist will help design and implement processes, procedures, and best practices that drive continuous improvement and enhance asset reliability across all EOD operations. The Maintenance and Reliability Specialist will also play a key role in guiding EOD’s transition from a reactive to a predictive maintenance culture by leveraging data-driven decision-making, overseeing Ultimo Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)-based workflows, and ensuring compliance through auditing and process management.
- Analyzing, optimizing, and supporting Ultimo CMMS software used to track maintenance jobs, and asset reliability.
- Creating and maintaining documentation related to the Ultimo CMMS system including improvement and standardization of asset data and job tasking.
- Examining maintenance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Develops and manages a continuous improvement program and identify opportunities to optimize Ultimo and related systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Working with maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders to improve maintenance processes.
- Develop plans and processes to migrate the maintenance system from reactive/proscriptive to predictive maintenance philosophies.
- Develop, lead, and coordinate internal and external audit process (maintenance system compliance and quarterly rig equipment and systems assessment, RESA) with QHSE, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance teams.
- Creating reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance, such as downtime, maintenance cost, maintenance backlog, schedule compliance, and asset obsolescence.
- Providing training and support to users of the Ultimo CMMS system.
- Participate in related industry organizations conferences, working groups, and committees.
- Support Manager – Regulatory Compliance with regulatory inspections as needed.
- Proficiency in using and managing CMMS software, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of maintenance processes.
- Knowledge of offshore drilling units’ equipment and systems
- Ability to plan, implement and monitor assignments effectively to meet the requirements of assigned work
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, information technology, engineering) or 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in using and managing CMMS software, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of maintenance processes.
