Starting rate $30.02/hour without CDL or $32.43/hour with a CDL.
Hours per Shift: Monday through Friday/ 8 Hours a day
Operator/Driver Ratio : 50% Ops / 50% Driver
Driver: HazMat deliveries to customers. Will occasionally help customers (tailgate service) with physical application (load & unload) of delivered product.
Operator: Magazine inventory, staging orders, maintenance while maintaining regulatory requirements for ATF, DOT, etc. Maintenance of magazine site, facility housekeeping. Mobile equipment, mechanical preventative maintenance, etc. Daily shipping and receiving, to include lifting and/or move 50 regularly/100 lbs. occasionally.
We are hiring Class A CDL Drivers with Hazmat Endorsements to work in the exciting explosive industry. Our company provides explosives and explosives related services to the quarry, construction, and mining industries in the Western United States. Ideal candidates are comfortable operating in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico driving hazardous materials between company and customer sites as well as assisting experienced blasters with blasting operations. Candidates should be motivated individuals with the desire to work hard, learn new skills, and be accustomed to working in teams to accomplish amazing things. Experience with explosive related products and services or other hazardous materials is not required, but desired. For those who are new to the industry, extensive training will be provided.

· Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current CDL with Hazmat Endorsements or be willing to learn and complete the necessary training and proficiency.
· Must be willing and able to learn and understand tasks associated with explosives handling under supervision.
· Must be willing to drive, load, unload and assist customers with hazardous materials in accordance with DOT, MSHA, or OSHA regulations.
· Must be able to walk, stand, bend, squat, or kneel for long periods of time on frequent basis as well as lift and carry loads up to fifty-five pounds for multiple hours per day.
· Must enjoy working outside in the Pacific Northwest as well as being exposed to changes in temperatures and humidity on a frequent or continuous basis.
· Must be willing to learn and understand all the health and safety aspects of the blasting and explosives industry.
· Must be willing to learn and grow your skills and abilities to the benefit of yourself and others.
Have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements (ATF, DOT, etc.). Accurately control the flow of inventory, stage orders, assist drivers, customer deliveries, upkeep and have good housekeeping of magazine facility, maintenance of magazine facility and equipment, assist in performing hazard evaluation risk analysis, developing safe operating procedures and job safety analysis, perform accurate receiving and shipping duties, develop and maintain regulatory contacts and relationships and other job duties as required
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Class A CDL with tanker, doubles and HazMat endorsements or Ability to acquire within 3 months, Inventory control experience,
