Machinist Trainee

Job Description

We have an opening for machinist trainee. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and abilities such as the ability to use precision measuring instruments, good with numbers, able to read blue prints.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to learn the skill of machining on the job.

You Will Be Trained In The Following Areas:

· Set up and operate CNC lathe

· Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications

· Inspect finished pieces using precision measuring instruments

· Conversational programming of CNC lathe

· Operate other manual machines such as a vertical mill, manual lathe as needed

Skills Needed:

- Ability to learn new skills

- Ability to arrive to work on time

- Attention to details

Pay:

· Pay is based on experience. As you learn more you will earn more.
