Job Responsibilities

- Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality expectations while supporting a production schedule.

- Execute daily priorities and duties as defined by the supervisor or area lead.

- Set up and operate CNC machines (large VTL and HBM) to produce products that meet required specifications throughout the manufacturing shop.

- Complete required documentation (work routers, inspections sheets, etc.) with accurate information.

- Inspect and ensure all dimensions are within print specifications by applying GD&T (Geometric, Dimensioning and Tolerancing) concepts and report any non-conformities.

- The employee must regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 30 lbs and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- Operate overhead cranes to move, lift, and flip parts safely.

- Ability to apply basic written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to apply concepts of basic math and basic PC skills.

- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, work orders and drawings.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Meet consistent attendance.

- Ability to work, focus and thrive in a very fast paced and noisy work environment.

- Ability to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions, if required.

- Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment by following housekeeping guidelines.

- Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

- Minimum 5 years of relevant CNC machining experience on VTL and HBM

- Demonstrated proficiency in a range of processes or procedures. Basic understanding of how the team integrates with others. Good communication skills to exchange moderately complex information, typically within own team.

Desired Characteristics

- 8+ years of CNC machining preferably on large mills/HBM and large VTL's

- Advanced understanding of CNC machine controls such as Siemens, Mazatrol, or equivalent.

- Advanced knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand tools and measuring equipment.

- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

- Ability to calculate and set controls to regulate machining.

- Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

- Read and interpret G-code programs.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Strong work ethic and adherence to processes and policies.

Additional Information

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status. No relocation assistance.

- 1st shift 6:30am – 3pm Monday through Friday (with overtime as required), some weekends/holidays will be required.
