We are currently looking for a Machine Shop Manual Operator to join our busy and growing manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the Anodizing department and company to the next level. The incumbent will be forward looking and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement.

You will be provided the coaching and training needed throughout the onboarding and orientation process that will build from your base of skills acquired from your past experiences.

Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Level 1

- Excellent machining skills

- Manual machine and part setup

- The ability to read drawings

- Ability to run Manual Machinery (Mills, Lathes, Drill Presses)

- The ability to use precision gauges and instruments and efficiently produce parts to required tolerances

- Know how to handle and use machine shop tools

- Quality control practices

- Daily & weekly maintenance

- Multitask

- Housekeeping as required

Level 2 (includes Level 1 plus the following):

- Ability to independently setup manual machinery using necessary tools and fixtures

Level 3 (includes Level 1 and 2 plus the following):

- Ability to perform custom parts including R&D projects

- Problem solving skills

Educational/Experience Requirements:

- Community College Certificate/Diploma or related work experience

- Machining Courses or equivalent experience within a machine shop
