Primary Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
•Responsible for the safe operation of assigned machines using the necessary skill and knowledge to produce a product to specification through accurate set-up and subsequent operation of all machines in the department.
•Perform machine setup and operation tasks independently and effectively.
•Produces product to specified tolerances on a timely basis.
•Properly process necessary information on Production Routers.
•Move material to other locations as required.
•Use safe working practices as directed and train others to do so.
•Perform assigned tasks under the direction of Team Lead/Supervisor/MFG. Manager.
•Perform training of others as directed by Supervisor/MFG. Manager.
•Bring technical problems encountered to the Team Lead/Supervisor/MFG. Manager.
•Work to improve efficiency to achieve productivity and delivery goals.
•Organize and maintain personal and company tools, equipment and work area in a professional manner.
•Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs, including but not limited to the process map, support processes, safety and environmental requirements.
•Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Education & Experience Qualifications
•Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•5 yrs experience or demonstrate superior knowledge with proficiency in the machining field with manual machines.
+ Setup & operation of all major machine tools available.
•Experience with use of precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
•Must be able to read & interpret machining blueprints, and/or estimating machining time and process requirements for various tasks.

•Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
•Must be willing & able to work any overtime as required.
•Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
•Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
•Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently.
•Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
•Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
•Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
•Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
•Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
