CZT Energy USA Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Sealy, TX. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of metalworking machinery and equipment to produce high-quality components in accordance with technical specifications. This role also supports continuous improvement initiatives and collaborates with other production team members to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
- Operate metalworking machinery such as lathes, drills, grinders, presses, and welding equipment to fabricate metal components.
- Monitor machine operations and production processes, making necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and product quality.
- Perform in-process and final quality checks on finished components, taking corrective action as needed.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
- Assemble metal components using blueprints or instructions; carry out finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing, or painting.
- Supervise your immediate work area to ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment in line with 6S standards.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to resolve issues and meet production goals.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly and participate in corrective and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide basic support or training to new team members as needed.
- Follow all company safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment preferred.
- Hands-on experience operating metalworking machines and tools.
- Welding experience in a production setting is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, leadership potential, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Positive mindset, quick learner, and commitment to high safety and quality standards.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts, including overtime if required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching during 8 to 12-hour shifts.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to work with small components and precision equipment.
- Ability to operate carts, lift systems, and perform occasional ladder or platform access.
- Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vibration, and fluctuating temperatures.
- Required to wear PPE at all times on the production floor, including steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and a hard hat.
