The Punch Press Machine Operator is responsible for maintaining and operating a single and automatic power press that feeds continuous roll of sheet metal into position under ram by performing the following duties. Also, assumes responsibility for preventive maintenance, general housekeeping duties and quality checks, striving toward continuous improvement.
- Performs routine operation of the press(s), the auxiliary equipment, and general maintenance of the press(s).
- Perform all required Q.C. checks.
- Load all inspections into Plex.
- Maintain Logbooks in Plex
- Ensure proper and safe operations of crane system.
- Keep the machine and surrounding area clean and free of debris, excessive oils, and obstructions.
- All other responsibilities as assigned
- Be able to perform coil changes and maintain flatness of material

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Preferred experience running high volume automated punch presses.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to complete complex work independently with precision and care.
- Ability to read and understand quality related documents, general understanding of the company quality standards and expectations, and other related documents and instructions.
