Machine Operator

Job Duties:

- Set up, program, and operate orbital welding equipment to perform high-quality welds.

- Inspect materials and welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

- Adhere to safety protocols and workplace best practices to prevent hazards.

- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and team members to ensure precision and efficiency.

- Perform quality control checks and documentation of welding work.

- Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues.

- Help develop designs for welding projects

- Use a variety of tools and equipment

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding specifications; maintain and calibrate welding equipment to ensure optimal performance preferred but willing to train

Qualifications:

- Read basic measuring devices.

- Ability to work in high-precision environments and follow strict tolerances.

- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Verbal and written communication and teamwork abilities.

- Qualifications that are preferred:

- Proficient in math.

- Experience with cutting and forming tubing and other fittings.

- Proficiency in orbital welding processes, techniques, and equipment operation.

- Strong understanding of metallurgy, materials science, and welding symbols.

Working Conditions:

- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.

- May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures.

- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
