Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring production efficiency, and adhering to safety protocols. This position requires a strong understanding of machine operations, programming, and the ability to read blueprints.

Hours for this position are Monday-Thursday 5:50am-3:30pm and Friday 5:50am-9:50am.

Responsibilities

- Must be able to set up the welder per work order requirements and make adjustments as needed to ensure a good quality part and/or weld while maintaining production standards

- Read and interpret blueprints

- Must be able to verify dimension of finished part per required procedures, inspect specified number of parts of every order for tolerances and input information into QAS

- Must be able to position blanks on the machine, remove finished parts and perform parts inspection for visual defects and cleanliness

- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety regulations
