Machine Mechanic (3-5 yrs experience)

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Mechanic

Location: North Antelope Rochelle Mine

Position: Maintain and repair all mobile equipment, including engines, chassis, and product storage and blending equipment to assure reliable, safe, and cost-effective use of company vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications:

-3-5 years of heavy mechanics or related experience

-Must be at least 18 years old

-Clean driving record

-Able to pass all background checks

-Must satisfy the requirements for a “possessor of explosives” as defined by the B.A.T.F.

-Must be able to work outside in the heat

-Supply own transportation

Essential Functions:

· Repair and maintain all company vehicles to assure safe and reliable use.

· Maintain all vehicle maintenance records to assure timely maintenance of vehicles.

· Maintain parts supply inventories and equipment to have necessary parts and supplies readily available and to control costs.

· Purchase parts and supplies needed for repair and maintenance of vehicles to fulfill maintenance requirements and to be cost effective.

· Supervise helpers to meet vehicle and equipment maintenance standards.

· Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions.

· Knowledgeable and use practices consistent with company policies and procedures from applicable technical modules, SOPs, work site, and safety policies and procedures.

· Knowledgeable of, and comply with applicable DOT, OSHA, MSHA, EPA and BATFE.

· Ability to work accurately with numbers and perform simple mathematical calculations.

· Maintain safe working conditions and assure that all crew members and others on the site follow all safety and regulatory procedures and practices to ensure a safe and successful event.

Working Environment: Must be able to work primarily outdoors in all weather conditions of temperature and climate. Physically travel between offices and remote field locations. Must wear personal protective equipment where required. May require lifting of up to 60 lbs.

Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off repeating schedule. 6 AM – 4 PM

Pay Range: $30.00 - $32.00 Depending on experience
