About the Role

The Deliver Driver will be responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and materials amongst our facilities in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials, as well as providing support to the materials handling teams (Receiving, Shipping, etc.)

Duties & Key Responsibilities

- Loads vehicle for delivery

- Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, scheduling routine maintenance to keep vehicle running properly

- Observes all traffic laws and posted speed limits

- Delivers goods to clients

- Interacts with the customer/suppliers in a professional manner

- Collects required signature for payment, proof of delivery, and gives a receipt to customer/supplier/facility

- Returns all required documentation to appropriate company official

- Observes no smoking in delivery vehicle

- Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance

- Must get all pertinent information if involved in an accident and inform appropriate company official

- Unloads vehicle after completing delivery runs

- Performs other related duties as assigned by management

- Helps in warehouse activities when required

What You Bring

· Experience & Skills:

- One to two years related experience or equivalent

- Familiarity with delivery practice3s and handling methods

- Forklift certified

- Ability to work with minimal supervision

- Commitment to excellence and high standards

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Strong organizational, priorities, and workflow

- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Work Environment

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
