The Loan Processor performs a variety of administrative and loan processing support functions for one or more programs within Energy Finance Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review documentation to confirm loan product requirements and program eligibility; communicate as necessary to obtain missing information/documentation

- Respond to consumer and contractor inquiries regarding the loan or subsidy programs

- Process emails

- Process postal mail

- Perform accurate and detailed data entry

- Responsible for phone coverage as assigned

- Perform contractor management duties

- These responsibilities are not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned from time-to-time.

- High School diploma or equivalent

- 1-3 years of work-related experience, preferably in customer service

- Experience with loan processing and credit analysis a plus

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite required

- Strong written & verbal communication skills

- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize

- Able to work as part of a team and independently

- Organized with a strong attention to detail necessary

- Ability to think quickly and make good judgement decisions

Physical Requirements

- Primarily a sedentary role, with tasks typically performed while sitting or occasionally standing.

- Ability to operate a computer and standard office equipment.

- Tasks demand visual focus for reading and working on screens.

- This position frequently communicates via phone and video conferencing, with in-person interactions as applicable.

Work Environment

- Fully remote position with the ability to work from home or another suitable location with reliable internet access.

- Hybrid work available if located in Madison, WI. If in-office, expect a moderate noise level.

- Must have the ability to work independently while staying engaged with the team through virtual communication tools such as email, chat, and video conferencing.

- Requires a quiet and professional workspace for virtual meetings and collaboration.

- Typical schedule of 9–5 in Central Time zone.
