The Manufacturing Associate assists with all areas of manufacturing, not limited to: blending, filling, trucks, rail, loading, grinding, forklift (as needed), to meet customer needs. Ability to lift heavy loads. You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules.
- Provide assistance in all areas of Manufacturing as needed
- Maintain safety and housekeeping needs
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (e.g. digging, stacking up goods, etc.)
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules
- Must be able to complete simple math (addition, subtraction & multiplication)
- Assist in the training of current and new employees
- Basic Mechanical skills (how to turn a wrench and use hand tools properly)
The Manufacturing Associate is measured according to the following criteria:
- On-time production fulfillment
- Follow all safety standards and procedures
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Accomplish daily/weekly manufacturing tasks
- Completion of preventative maintenance
- Follow all Safety standards policies & procedures
