Greylock is actively seeking a Lease Operator to work in and around the Uintah County area and reporting to our Vernal, Utah division.

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform the following duties satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
- Implement safe work practices and participate in a proactive safety culture that consistently prioritizes the safety of our Team Members, and the communities where we operate while also protecting the environment.
- Operate flowing oil & gas wells and production facilities.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production equipment.
- Operate 2 & 3 phase separators and dehydration units.
- Climb stairs and gauge 300-400 bbl water and oil tanks, as well as understand how to read a gauge tape.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on instruments and miscellaneous production equipment.
- Complete run tickets.
- Input daily production data into the production accounting system.
- Operate a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
- Operate and perform basic maintenance on field compressors.
- Operate and maintain flowlines, cleaning, inspecting and leak repair.
- Ability to read and understand safety postings, operating procedures, and company policies.
- Demonstrate basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
- Available to work late as needed and respond to after-hours and off shift call outs in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
This role requires working outdoors, traveling to different locations within the operating area, and working in all types of weather.
This role requires extended periods of physical activity including, but not limited to, walking, kneeling, climbing, bending, reaching, lifting and using hand tools. The candidate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 100 pounds as needed.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the driver’s qualification is required.
- The ability to perform job duties with minimal direct supervision is required.
- The ability to adapt to unexpected situations as they arise is required.
- The ability to work independently by operating assigned route and making sound decisions is required.
- The ability to work collaboratively, contributing to the broader team is required.
- Intermediate proficiency with MSOffice, with the ability to learn industry specific, company specific, and new programs quickly is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of oil and gas experience with production operations is required; 2 to 4 years of experience is preferred.
- 8/6 work schedule; subject to after hours and off shift call outs
