Job Title: Lead Engineer - Distribution Infrastructure

Location: Orange, CT

Work Type: In Office

Reports To: Manager - Distribution Engineering

The base salary for this position is dependent upon experience and location ranging from $103,939 - $129,924

Job Summary:

The Lead Engineer will lead/direct the efforts of a team assigned to solve basic to complex problems pertaining to the repair of, replacement of, maintenance of, or new construction of, the electric distribution infrastructure. The Lead engineer will perform basic to complex power systems engineering analysis, design, and calculations pertaining to the repair of, replacement of, maintenance of, or new construction of the electric distribution infrastructure. Direct and guide department engineers to meet specified project/team goals. The Lead would take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Work is to be completed with minimal guidance.

For Lead Engineers:* + Utilize knowledge to influence and guide department engineers. + Provide technical leadership in complex projects that have a wide impact on the department + Mentor, develop and support team in technical skills + Ability to collaborate across departments + Liaison/ direct contractors on company policy, standards, and best practices + Work independently with little supervision
