Lead Systems Engineer

Job Description Summary

GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage business combines advanced energy conversion and storage systems to meet the electrification needs of utilities and industries. - Delivering and executing project milestones, using systems-level product knowledge to coordinate engineering activity between designers, suppliers, and installers.

- Work collaboratively with project managers to maintain project budgets and keep costs within budget.

- Communicate effectively with customers to provide product information and coordinate change requests.

- Identifying project risks and take ownership of technical solutions when needed.

- Responsible for delivering engineering drawings and calculations.

- Prepare technical documentation such as work instructions and test procedures.

- Providing real-time technical support to technicians and customer engineers.

- Liaising with customers on a regular basis to ensure the successful design and manufacture of products to agreed-upon budgets and time frames.

- Developing strategies for product improvement and provide candid feedback to internal design and manufacturing teams.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college

- Minimum of 3 years of significant experience in Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering

- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

- Solar and/ or Battery Energy Storage experience.

- Established project management skills.

The salary range for this position is 98,400.00 - 131,200.00 - 164,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
