- Review applications to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
- Use a multi-channel approach to recruiting (sourcing job boards, social media, community outreach)
- Contact potential candidates to discuss job opportunities
- Conduct both skills based and behavior-based interviews to determine a candidate fit for the job
- Create and present candidate profiles for next step recommendation to Hiring Managers
- Build talent networks to find qualified active and passive candidates while maintaining an active pipeline
- Write and/or proofread job descriptions
- Execute local recruitment programs including participation in local job fairs
- Complete job offers and initial phases of the on-boarding Process
- 3-5 years of experience as a Recruiter; a balance of Corporate and Staffing Agency Recruiting is a plus
- Knowledge of the Skilled Trades Industry (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Water Treatment) preferred but not required
- Ability and willingness to develop an expert level understanding of position requirements
- Exposure to an ATS Software preferred
