Job Description Summary

The Lead Nuclear Fuel Mechanical Design Engineer - Will be responsible for the mechanical design, development, and analysis of nuclear fuel products. This role requires collaboration with sourcing, fabrication and quality, thermal-mechanical analysts, material scientists, fuel experts, and nuclear/thermal-hydraulic analysis engineers to assure product perform within licensed and GNF performance expectations in a fast-paced environment.

This position is based at our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. Must be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided) if not already local.

Desired Qualifications

The base pay range for this position is $86,000-122,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 6/20/2025.
