We’re Hiring: Lead HVAC Installer – Residential & Light Commercial

On-Site in Williamsport, MD | $28–$32/hour | Full-Time, Year-Round

Are you an experienced HVAC installer who takes pride in high-quality work, leads by example, and values being part of a dependable, respected team? RT Services, a family-owned plumbing and HVAC business based in Williamsport, MD, is looking for a Lead HVAC Installer to join our growing company.

This is a hands-on, leadership role — ideal for someone who’s ready to step up, take ownership of projects, and help mentor the next generation of techs while maintaining the craftsmanship and professionalism we’re known for.

What You’ll Do:

•

Lead the installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, ductwork, controls, etc.).

•

Coordinate jobs and crew members to ensure safe, code-compliant, and high-quality installs.

•

Communicate with office staff, customers, and inspectors to keep jobs on track.

•

Diagnose and troubleshoot installation issues and make on-the-spot decisions.

•

Complete install paperwork and ensure clean, customer-ready final setups.

•

Train and mentor junior installers and apprentices.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

•

Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation experience (lead).

•

Ability to read plans, interpret installation specs, and manage install flow.

•

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

•

Clean, professional appearance and strong customer communication skills.

•

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

•

EPA certification required; NATE or journeyman license preferred.

Location: Based in Williamsport, MD – must be able to commute to the office/shop Schedule: Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed and a rotating on-call schedule Pay: $28–$32/hour depending on experience, with opportunity for bonuses
