Your impact

As Lead, Data Transformation, you will drive the adoption of digital technology solutions across Newmont to enhance performance, reduce manual efforts, and increase operational efficiency. Your work will enable smarter decision-making, foster innovation, and support strategic business objectives.

As part of our team you will

Lead digital transformation initiatives to streamline workflows and improve operational performance.

Introduce and integrate new digital and data technologies across global functions.

Support strong data governance by managing data standards, quality monitoring, lineage documentation, and cross-functional issue resolution.

Collaborate closely with Data Foundations, Digital, Operations, and other teams to ensure trusted, high-quality data.

Prerequisites for your success in this role

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience: Proficiency in digital transformation, data governance, or enterprise data platforms.

Knowledge of data catalog or metadata tools.

Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and in global teams.

Your work environment

Based within Newmont’s Technical function, collaborating with IT, Operations, Engineering, and Data Science teams.

Periodic travel may be required to engage with vendors and business stakeholders.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $126,480-166,005. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
