Lead Commercial Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, particularly in commercial and industrial settings. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The Commercial Electrician will work on various projects, including new builds and renovations, utilizing their expertise in high voltage systems and logic controllers.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial buildings.

- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.

- Work with high voltage systems safely and effectively.

- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.

- Perform renovations and upgrades to existing electrical systems as required.

- Build and frame carpentry structures as needed for electrical installations.

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or Industrial Electrician is essential.

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications and logic controllers.

- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in the electrical trade.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
