Job Description

Join our team! We’re hiring now for a full-time Mowing Crew Lead position. Duties include managing one or two person teams for mowing and trimming on both Commercial and Residential properties. Main duties include quality mowing service, thoughtful weed control, assistance with seasonal yard & bed cleanups, equipment upkeep, and miscellaneous outdoor chores. Snow removal in the winter season.

We provide weekly paychecks and hourly pay with overtime available in summer. Your work is important to us and we take your pay seriously! Summer work weeks average 43-47 hrs each week and hourly pay of $19-$24 (or more) depending on experience.

We also offer PTO, paid holidays, training opportunities & profit sharing.

Requirements:

· Valid current driver’s license with clean driving record; must be 21 or older (due to insurance).

· Previous lawncare and leadership experience.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify local weeds, perennials, shrubs and trees.

· Excellent verbal communication skills, friendliness, and customer service mindset.

· Familiarity with seasonal fertilizations and weed control applications, as well as creating & recording proper schedules for those events.

· Ability to perform various physical tasks.

· Knowledge and the ability to properly operate various types of landscape equipment

· Strong ability to use software/apps/computers, familiarity with current technology.

· Able to thrive both independently and in a team environment with a positive attitude.

Awesome stuff but not required:

· Experience using proper pruning techniques on a variety of plants, trees, and shrubs

· Pesticide Application License

· Experience performing snow removal, especially plowing

· Some Spanish fluency is very helpful

· Ability to perform machine maintenance

· Knowledge of commercial and residential irrigation systems
