Laser Machine Operator - Level 1

Position Summary

In this position you will be required to operate lasers as well as operate other production machinery as needed. Also, assures proper lubrication of all moving parts. You will need to keep Lasers clean and free of dirt, burrs, scratches, slugs, etc. As well as maintaining accurate timecard, and reporting production.

Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

· Ensures safety and environmental procedures are being followed, including operation and the wearing of personal protective equipment.

· Ensures that the department is kept free of any unnecessary danger or risk.

· Follows company rules, policies, and procedures per the company handbook.

· Responsible for maintaining high productivity, quality, and overall functioning of department.

· Finish and label parts as needed.

· First part inspection and in-process inspection procedure.

· Can count parts accurately.

· Can perform simple operator maintenance (Notify Supervisor of machine down situations).

· Assists in loading material with overhead crane or Hilo.

· Moves finished parts as needed.

· Willing to learn how to operate equipment and read prints
