Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to fabricate components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, quality inspection processes, and various machining techniques. Duties

•

Operate laser cutting machines to produce high-quality parts as per engineering specifications.

•

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the correct cutting paths and settings.

•

Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.

•

Utilize measuring tools such as calipers and gauges to verify dimensions of fabricated parts.

•

Conduct routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.

•

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

•

Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.

•

Experience with laser cutting machinery is preferred; familiarity with plasma cutting is a plus.

•

Basic math skills for calculating measurements and adjustments.

•

Knowledge of fabrication processes, including lathe operation, milling machines, and forklift operation.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

•

Previous experience in quality inspection or similar roles is advantageous.

•

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
