About This Job
Sinco, Inc is looking for a laser machine operator to join our team. A laser machine operator safely performs laser cutting for a variety of our manufacturing products.
Warning: Due to the magnetic properties of the equipment, persons with pacemakers or defibrillators are not eligible to be a laser operator as it could be life threatening.
The essential functions of the job are as follows:
•
Perform typical laser cutting operations.
•
Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures.
•
Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.
•
Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
•
Perform prescribed maintenance as required.
•
Perform all dimensional inspections.
•
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
•
Operate a forklift.
•
May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require.
Preferred Education and Experience
•
1 year of manufacturing experience.
•
1 year of laser operator experience.
•
Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage, awareness and quality system awareness.
