Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead landscaping construction projects, ensuring high-quality execution, safety, and client satisfaction. The Construction Foreman will oversee crews, manage project timelines, and coordinate with clients and suppliers while upholding Aloha Aina Landscaping’s commitment to environmental stewardship and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
•Project Leadership: Supervise and direct landscaping construction projects, including hardscaping, irrigation systems, and site preparation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
•Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate a crew of laborers and equipment operators, fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.
•Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company standards, client specifications, and local regulations, including proper installation of retaining walls, pathways, and drainage systems.
•Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular site inspections, and maintain equipment to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
•Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, addressing concerns and providing updates on project progress.
•Resource Coordination: Manage material deliveries, equipment usage, and subcontractor schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
•Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily work logs, material usage, and project milestones, reporting progress to the Project Manager.
Qualifications
•Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in landscaping or construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
•Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, skid steers) and knowledge of hardscaping techniques, irrigation systems, and grading.
•Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain morale under tight deadlines.
•Certifications: Valid driver’s license required; OSHA 10/30 certification and/or landscaping-related certifications (e.g., CLT, CPH) preferred.
•Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, crew, and management.
•Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
