A Landscape Technician is the one who cares for plants, shrubs trees, and other foliage in gardens. The job may also include designing and installing new gardens and peripheral building structures like walkways, bridges or walls. The Landscape Technician is responsible for field operations surrounding horticultural efforts within an eight city block area of mixed-use retail, office, entertainment, and residential developments. Responsible proper use of resources, equipment and materials to ensure maximum use and completion of work.

Physical Demands
Landscape Technicians should be capable of standing, walking, kneeling, and crouching for long periods of time; they should also be able to carry heavy stones, slates, bags of fertilizer and grass seed, and other items used in landscape care and design.
Environmental Conditions
Employee may find the environment to be busy, noisy and will need excellent organizational and time and stress management skills to complete the required tasks. Will require exposure to all outdoor elements.
