Overview
DEMS LLC is seeking dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborers to join our maintenance team. This role is essential in maintaining and enhancing the beauty of outdoor spaces through various landscaping tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physical labor.
Responsibilities
•
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns in commercial and roadsides/highway.
•
Assist in the installation of new landscapes, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
•
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
•
Irrigate landscapes effectively to ensure healthy plant growth.
•
Provide grounds keeping services including snow plowing during winter months.
•
Dig holes for planting or other landscaping needs as required.
•
Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to ensure quality and health of plants.
•
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Requirements
•
Mechanical knowledge is preferred for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as weed trimmers, zero turns, mowers, and tractors.
•
Experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is a plus.
•
Familiarity with lawn care practices and tree care techniques is beneficial.
•
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor consistently.
•
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
•
Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and maintenance tasks.
•
A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Pay: $15.76 - $16.75 per hour
