Job description
The Sr. Land Agent at Earth Land Services plays a crucial role in managing right of way (ROW) activities related to solar and renewable projects. This position involves securing permissions, negotiating easements, and maintaining detailed documentation while adhering to safety and project guidelines. The agent will work closely with the ROW Supervisor and other team members to ensure successful project execution and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
•Secure permission to enter properties from landowners and tenants.

•Negotiate for ROW options, easements, fee interest, and curative documents as directed by the Client.

•Maintain a detailed diary of contacts for every property owner and tenant on a project and prepare a weekly activity report.

•Maintain a detailed log of all payments.

•Negotiate Damage Settlements as required.

•Support all construction activities as required.

•Document all ROW activities as required.

•Adhere to project Safety Plan.
Requirements
•Associates Degree preferred or relevant experience.
•Experience in work related to right of way or real estate services provided to public organizations.

•Broad knowledge of procedures used to acquire real property interests for public utility/infrastructure projects including condemnation.

•Knowledgeable with laws and regulations involving real estate transactions and Eminent Domain.

•Experience as a ROW agent or related ROW position.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including spreadsheet and word processing.

•Detail oriented with excellent analytical and quantitative skills.

•Specialized knowledge in methods and techniques for performing Land Services activities.
,
•Competent knowledge in land description and terminology, surface and subsurface rights, ROW document analysis, and negotiation skills.
Nice-to-haves
•Solar/Renewables experience preferred.

Pay: $350.00 - $450.00 per day
