Laboratory Technician-Water

Job Summary:

The Laboratory Technician position will be located in the water treatment laboratory, the applicant will be required to learn the coke and coal side as well, so he/she can fill-in in the case of emergency. Applicant will report to the Manager of Quality Assurance. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK EVERY WEEKEND 7AM-4PM. MAY CHOOSE THE TWO OFF DAYS YOU PREFER DURING THE WEEK.

Job Responsibilities:

The position will support the water treatment plant with testing of water samples pulled on a daily basis. The laboratory technician will be expected to learn the inner workings of the water treatment plant so that he/she can foresee issues and work closely with the water treatment plant supervisor to correct these issues and prevent future problems from occurring.
