SCHEDULEMonday – Friday (40 hours) 7:00 am – 3:30pm, Occasional overtime and weekend work required. CONTRACT TERM8 month long contract with high likelihood of extension or conversion to a full-time employee POSITION OVERVIEW – Lab Technician IIThe open position is with the Blending & Technical Services (BTS) and Lubricants Performance Testing Laboratory (LPTL). Customer-focused service group that performs bench-scale blending and testing of lubricants in support of product development, technical services, and research & development activities conducted by Chevron Lubricants and Oronite Additives. RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:* Delivering timely, precise, and flexible laboratory services to its customers while maintaining operations that reflect a true "safety first" environment that meets client’s high standards for Operational Excellence.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:* 1+ years experience working in a laboratory or similar technical environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* AS / BS degree, formal training in chemistry, biology, or other science.
