The South Adams County Water & Sanitation District (SACWSD), dedicated to providing affordable and sustainable water resources to its customers, is seeking an individual at our Klein Water Treatment Plant for the position of Lab Technician.
This position provides support and aids in the efficient operations of the District’s water quality laboratory to meet drinking water regulations by performing the following duties:
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid, current Colorado Driver’s License required.
A minimum of 1 year experience in water quality, environmental lab or related experience.
Working knowledge of lab techniques and procedures. Detail oriented, with effective organizational, communication, problem solving and administrative skills. Self starter, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment necessary.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a drug screen and background check prior to employment.
