Junior Process Engineer

About The Role

We are looking for a Jr Process Engineer interested in a career within Oil and Gas. Though this role doesn’t require extensive prior experience, it requires the opening to learn and adapt to the team, as well as being mentored by more Sr. Engineers. You will be responsible of assisting the team on different projects, support layout and design and effective communication with clients and providers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

•

Perform routine tasks which require application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks

•

Size and specify equipment and instrumentation for existing and proposed oil and gas facilities

•

Assist with creating layout and design, Design Basis, PFDs, P&IDs, stream summary and line list for multi-well facilities

•

Improve existing design to ensure safety, operability, and environmental compliance

•

Develop block flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams

•

Develop engineering standards and perform process engineering consulting for upstream/midstream/downstream oil and gas clients

•

Work with clients, contractors, project managers, and engineering disciplines to ensure the project execution plan is effective, comprehensive, reasonable, and obtainable

•

Assist with process simulation models for existing and proposed oil and gas facilities

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

•

Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering

•

0-3 years of experience in Oil & Gas Process Engineering

Compensation And Benefits

•

Compensation (i.e. Base Salary) is negotiable and shall be offered commensurate with experience.

•

Expected Base Salary Range: $60,000 / year – $85,000 / year

•
