We are looking for a Carpenter to join the Site General Services team at the Iron Ore Company of Canada site in Labrador City, NL. The Carpenter will build and repair a vast array of structures made of wood, wood-substitutes and other materials, and ensure that maintenance activities are safely carried out to fixed plant, and associated assets, in a safe and efficient manner. The schedule of work is Monday to Thursday.

We are a leading North American producer and exporter of premium iron ore pellets and high-grade concentrate with average iron grades greater than 66%. IOC’s operations include a mine with five operational pits, a concentrator and a pelletizing plant located near Labrador City in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. We also operate a wholly-owned 418 km railway, the Quebec North Shore and Labrador Railway.
