About This Job
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment in various industrial settings. Your expertise in analyzing schematics and fabricating parts will be essential to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our systems.
Responsibilities
•
Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
•
Analyze schematics to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
•
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
•
Fabricate components as needed to support repairs or installations.
•
Weld parts together using appropriate techniques to ensure durability.
•
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client needs.
•
Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
•
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
•
Available to work on multiple sites.
•
Traveling for work.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment.
•
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
•
Proficient in welding techniques and fabrication processes.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations.
•
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
•
Commitment to safety protocols and practices in the workplace.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•
Experience on mining equipment and conveyors.
•
Rigging experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $53.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 84 per week
