Bidell Gas Compression is a well-established natural gas compression manufacturing company with Parts & Service locations throughout Western Canada and NW US that offer 24/7 technical support.
We have a current opening for a Shift Field Service Mechanic Position based out of our Medicine Hat, AB Parts and Service branch.
Permanent residence in Medicine Hat is preferred but we will consider a scheduled shift with accommodations provided by the company.
The Field Service Mechanic will be working out of a service truck performing maintenance and repairs on natural gas engines and compressors.
Rotational shift, 8 days on, 6 days off. Some overtime will be required.
· Be a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician or Millwright;
· Have excellent knowledge of natural gas engines and compressors;
· Have strong customer service and communication skills;
· Be flexible with time scheduling to meet customer needs;
· Be available and participate in the on call rotation;
· Willing to comply with all company policies;
· Have a clean class 5 driver’s license.
Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with Waukesha and Caterpillar engines and Recip. compressors.
