This is a 2nd shift position (3:00 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.)
Responsibilities: install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls, while ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes.

•Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
•Install, troubleshoot, clean, inspect, calibrate, and maintain electrical equipment throughout the facility.
•Performs electrical work safely and professionally with minimal supervision in accordance with Federal and State Regulations and Company Policies.
•Responsible for assembling, installing, examining, replacing or repairing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
•Repair and troubleshoot AC/DC variable speed drives, other motor controls, PLC’s, process controls and building systems such as lighting, alarms and security systems.
•Prioritize work, schedule plans, and follow up on directed assignments.
•Responds and reports to work during off hours when emergency repairs are required.
•Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
•May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
•Operates other equipment including but not limited to industrial forklifts, personnel lifts, skid steer type loaders and other mobile equipment.
•We are seeking candidates with controls wiring and troubleshooting experience.
Education/Experience
•Must possess and maintain current Massachusetts Journeyman Electrical License or higher.5 years in the field or electrical apprenticeship OR 2 years of technical school – graduate and 2 years in the field.
•3 years Electrical & Controls experience required.
