Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter

Company Overview

NOVA Mechanical Systems Ltd. is looking for a Journeyman Plumber to join our Service Department that is dedicated to providing quality work to our customers.  This individual will be providing service in the Bonnyville and Cold Lake region.

Responsibilities:

- Providing plumbing service for both residential and commercial projects

- Maintain and service heating units and components

- Respond to gas leak(s) and perform detection

- Test and replace defective equipment

- Secure pipes or related equipment, by welding, brazing, soldering, or threading joints, dependent on specifications

- Tend to the maintenance and preventative maintenance programs, including cleaning of all plumbing and gas equipment

- Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation

- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques

Qualifications

- Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter preferred, experienced 3rd or 4th year apprentice will be considered

- Residential and commercial plumbing experience required

- Preferred 5 years' experience as a Journeyman Plumber or skilled in plumbing and heating service work

- Possess a valid driver's license with acceptable drivers abstract

- Ability to work independently in a busy environment

- Experience with routine maintenance operations

- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allows one to work effectively in a diverse working environment

- Strong attention to detail

- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times

Pay: $33.00-$45.00 per hour
