Journeyman Picker Operator

Responsibilities:

- Operate 45 Ton Picker to lift, position and place material.

-Responsible for performing pre-operational inspections including hazard assessments, calculating equipment capacities and weight to prepare safe load movement.

-Field installs and relocation of pumpjack base pilings, pads, pumpjack assembly and engines.

-Perform tasks within OH&S legislation as well as company and/or client safety policies and requirements.

-Basic care and maintenance of vehicle.

-Complete Critical Lift Forms.

Skills:

-Strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, mathematical ability, excellent visual and depth perception and a high degree of hand-foot-eye coordination.

-Fit for work

- Physically demanding as is the handling of accessories.

Required Knowledge or Experience:

-Class 1 Driver's license with acceptable abstract.

-Journeyman Certificate.

-Current H2S, Standard First Aid, CSO (PST/CSTS), Fall Arrest and Ground Disturbance Level 2.

-Experience in Piling and Pumpjack Installation an asset

-Able to perform physical demands of position in various and extreme weather conditions.
