Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to become part of our growing team. In this role, you’ll be installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across both residential and commercial projects. This position offers strong compensation, per diem benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

License Requirement: Valid Journeyman Electrician License

Key Duties

- Install & Repair: Set up, service, and fix wiring, lighting, and electrical equipment according to state and national codes.

- Diagnostics: Locate and correct electrical malfunctions to maintain safe and reliable systems.

- Blueprints & Schematics: Review technical drawings to guide installation and repair work.

- Safety First: Maintain strict compliance with safety practices and ensure a hazard-free environment.

- Code Adherence: Perform all tasks in alignment with electrical codes and industry standards.

- Equipment Care: Inspect and upkeep tools, devices, and materials for optimal performance.

- Teamwork: Partner with supervisors, project leads, and coworkers to complete projects efficiently.

- Customer Interaction: Clearly explain work, provide professional recommendations, and answer client concerns.

- Recordkeeping: Document job details, reports, and inspection notes accurately.

- Mentorship: Support apprentices by sharing technical knowledge when needed.

Qualifications

- Active Journeyman Electrician License

- High school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade school a plus)

- At least 2 years of field experience as a journeyman electrician

- Thorough understanding of electrical systems and equipment

- Solid grasp of local/state/national codes and standards

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety

- Good communication and people skills

Compensation & Perks

- Pay: $30 – $35 per hour (based on experience)
