Journeyman Electrician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have two years of experience as a Journeyman. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various electrical systems.

Responsibilities

- Install, wire, and terminate electrical systems for residential and commercial solar PV projects in compliance with NEC, local codes, and utility requirements.

- Perform conduit runs, wire pulls, terminations, and panel/inverter/battery connections to ensure safe and efficient system operation.

- Interpret and implement electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and construction drawings for solar and energy storage installations.

- Complete service upgrades, main panel replacements, grounding/bonding, and meter work as required by project scope.

- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of inverters, optimizers, batteries, and monitoring equipment.

- Work with inspectors and utility representatives to pass inspections and achieve interconnection approvals.

- Ensure all work is performed with strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installation crews to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Experience

- 2 years of Journeyman experience.

- Solar experience of any type is a benefit.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

License/Certification:

- Colorado Journeyman Electrician License (Required)

Ability to Commute:

- Golden, CO 80401 (Required)
