Job Summary:
We are hiring Journeyman Pipefitters with proven industrial experience for LNG facility work on the U.S. Gulf Coast to support the Commissioning team. This position involves installing high-integrity piping systems associated with natural gas liquefaction, storage, and export. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of industrial pipefitting, a strong safety record, and the ability to perform in demanding environmental and schedule-driven conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
•Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and piping specifications
•Be competent to line walk with P&ID’s, Line Lists and ISO’s and issue status reports
•Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand and power tools or machines
•Reinstate piping systems after blows, pipe cleaning, strainer insertions, Lube Oil flushes
•Install and assemble pipe systems, supports, valves, and other piping components
•Insert and remove blinds, blanks, spacers and spades for barrier isolation during MC and Commissioning phases
•Interpretation of Flange Management to ASME PCC 1
•Ability to successfully torque and tension small to large bore flanges
•Align and secure pipes using clamps, brackets, and hangers
•Hydrotest, LO flush and pneumatic test installed piping systems to ensure integrity and compliance
•Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy, and cryogenic piping materials
•Safely operate rigging and hoisting equipment to position heavy pipe sections
•Ensure all work complies with project specifications, codes, and industry standards (e.g., ASME B31.3)
•Follow site-specific safety protocols and participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and job hazard analyses
•Collaborate with welders, foremen, QA/QC inspectors, Commissioning Techs and engineers to ensure installation accuracy and quality
•Support chemical cleaning, GALT’s, OPLT’s, Nitrogen inertion as required
•Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure proper storage of tools and materials
Qualifications:
•NCCER Certification or documented verification of craft-level competencies
•Minimum 5-10 years of industrial experience, preferably in LNG, petrochemical, or refinery settings
•Proven experience with cryogenic and high-pressure systems
•Familiarity with ASME, API, and other applicable piping codes
•Strong mechanical aptitude and precision measurement skills
•Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
•Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions
•Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
•Valid safety certifications such as TWIC, H2S, Confined Space, OSHA 30, or CSTS/PST, depending on location
•Willingness to work rotational shifts, overtime, or remote site assignments as needed
Preferred:
•Experience with LNG-specific systems (e.g., liquefaction units, vaporizers, loading arms)
•Prior work in greenfield or brownfield construction environments
•Knowledge of piping commissioning and pipefitting inspection practices

•Industrial facility with exposure to hazardous materials and high-noise environments
•Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) always required
•Be able to work for long periods of time in the Gulf Coast heat and humidity
