Who you are:

- Must be enrolled in a co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Alberta university.

- Have excellent computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely, using appropriate professional vocabulary.

What you get to do:

Support the HR Operational team in the following areas.

- Development of job postings

- Resume screening, shortlist and prescreen applicants

- Schedule interviews

- Complete reference and security checks

- Draft offer letters

- Initiate organizational changes/people moves within ATCO’s human capital management system

- Generate and analyze reports

- Data clean-up to ensure system reflect more up to date data

- Update and maintain SharePoint site

- Craft monthly leadership updates (via PowerPoint)

- Manage ad-hoc requests and projects

Required Skills:

- Strong analytical abilities

- Proven initiative and resourcefulness

- Excellent attention to detail

- Positive attitude toward change and continuous improvement

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities

- Working towards an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Management, Commerce, Business, Communications, or related discipline
